Scope of Application of the TilousTIC Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy addresses the collection, use, protection, and retention of personal information held by TilousTIC. The provisions set forth in this policy comply with the Loi sur la protection des renseignements personnels dans le secteur privé (free translation: Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector), as amended in 2022 and 2023 by the Loi modernisant des dispositions législatives en matière de protection des renseignements personnels dans le secteur privé (Loi 25) (free translation: Act to modernize legislative provisions regarding the protection of personal information in the private sector (Bill 25)).
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites that can be accessed by clicking on links found on the TilousTIC website. If you follow a link to a third-party website, that site will have its own privacy policies, which you should review before submitting your information.

The TilousTIC website incorporates external images. These images are uploaded directly to the site’s media library. The images incorporated into the site are used to illustrate projects (JPG or PNG image files) or to decorate the site (pixel characters).
The pixel characters used to illustrate the site are royalty-free drawings created by Manfred Steger and can be found on his Pixabay page.

The TilousTIC website tracks user activity using the Matomo Analytics module.

Use and disclosure of your personal or sensitive data
If you use the contact form, you are sharing certain data with TilousTIC. This data may include:

- sensitive information, such as the contact details of a shelter.
TilousTIC recommends that you do not share more personal or sensitive information in the contact form than is necessary to get in touch. If additional personal and/or sensitive information is needed to explore our collaboration, we can discuss this further.
The information and documents you provide as part of our collaboration are stored in a secure folder that is accessible only to TilousTIC by default. Secure sharing links may be created to share specific folders or documents with you as needed for our collaboration. TilousTIC takes all reasonable measures to select a platform whose security and privacy practices comply with applicable regulations, including Bill 25 in Quebec.
How long your data is stored
The data you provide will be stored for a default period of 2 years, or for as long as necessary to process your request, contact you, and follow up on TilousTIC’s services, if this period exceeds the default storage period.

Submissions to the contact form can be checked using an automated spam detection service.

In accordance with Bill 25, you have the right to data portability, which means you may request a list of all the personal data we hold about you, including the information you have provided to us. You may also request the deletion of your personal data.
