A transparent and equitable pricing structure
Following the principle of equitable pricing, organizations with larger budgets contribute more, allowing me to offer more affordable services to organizations with fewer resources. TilousTIC’s transparent pricing display enables you to make informed decisions and establishes a foundation of trust and shared commitment for our collaborations.
Companies, private sector
Average hourly rate: 185$.
Institutions, NGOs and syndicates
Hourly rate: between $110 and $140.
Community organisations
Average hourly rate: $95.
Associations, volunteer groups, etc.

Pricing for each service
Here’s how to apply the hourly rates based on the service you’re looking for. In any case, please note that agreements can be adjusted as needed, depending on how your circumstances evolve. For example, to add work hours or to adjust billing to align with your confirmed funding. I understand firsthand the realities of grant applications. Let’s talk!
Consulting and Research
For consulting services and collaboration on research projects, the bill will be calculated based on the applicable hourly rate multiplied by the number of hours of consultation or participation required.
- Consultation: If needed, I offer 2 hours of follow-up at a discounted rate for any one-time consultation. The discounted rate is 50% of the applicable hourly rate.
Talks
For presentations, speeches, or interviews, the fee is calculated based on a ratio of 2 hours of preparation for every 1 hour of presentation.
Training
To deliver a training session that I have already developed, the fee is calculated based on a ratio of 2 hours of preparation for every 1 hour of training.
- Additional preparation time may be required. For example, to design a new customized training program, or to learn a training program that you have already developed. We can adjust the billing to meet your specific needs.
Travel expenses
In Tiohtiá:ke (Montreal), travel time is not charged. However, accommodation fees may be charged if TilousTIC needs to stay at a specific location to provide services. For example: a hotel booked for a multi-day conference, or needing to be on-site the day before to conduct a training session starting at 9 a.m.
Outside of Tiohtiá:ke, travel expenses are calculated as follows:
- Travel time: billed at 50% of the applicable hourly rate. Example: $95 x 50% = $47.50 per hour of travel.
- Transportation tickets (train, bus, plane, etc.) and taxi fares: billing based on actual costs.
- Accommodations: One night’s accommodation is billed (approximately $140) for each day of in-person work outside of Tiohtiá:ke.
For any in-person event, whether located in Tiohtiá:ke or elsewhere, a per diem is added as follows: $20.00 for breakfast, $25.00 for lunch, and $30.00 for dinner, depending on the duration of attendance required.
Administration fees
A 10% administrative fee is added to all invoices. These fees cover all the tasks performed behind the scenes that ensure both the smooth operation of TilousTIC and the delivery of the best possible services: administrative tasks, accounting, review of your request, communications regarding the request, regular monitoring of relevant topics, self-training, equipment maintenance, drafting partnership letters for your projects, etc.
